Campion Education (Aust) Pty Ltd and Edsoft forms partnership to create better value for schools, teachers and students in e-learning resources and technologies

I am pleased to announce that Campion has acquired a majority shareholding in Edsoft Interactive. From 9th January 2012, Edsoft Interactive’s new ABN is 62 154 063 653.

Edsoft has grown significantly over the last 6 years and has become a significant leader in the interactive technology sector, providing bespoke curriculum and learning software, hardware and training solutions to its customer base of K-12 schools, Hi-Ed, TAFE and more recently new business segments in sports and government utilities, across Australia and New Zealand. Its single minded purpose and core vision has been to introduce pioneering new technologies to customers to passionately improve learner outcomes.

Campion is a family owned company, and is Australia’s largest provider of educational resources (books, stationery, ebooks). It has physical operations in every mainland state of Australia and has unparalleled relationships with the 500+ schools it provides booklist services for across Australia. Based on a shared vision for the potential of bringing educational content, resources and technologies to the education sector, it seemed to be a natural and complementary step to form a deeper relationship to capitalise on the strengths of both businesses.
