We recommend Stop Motion Pro Action! for enthusiasts and educators, who want an easy to use, inexpensive tool for creating stop motion animation. Alternatively we recommend Action! HD for high end enthusiasts and creative professionals on a budget.

Stop Motion Pro Action! is not compatible with live view / DSLR cameras whereas Action! HD is.

Stop Motion Pro is available in English, French, German and Spanish languages, making it even more engaging.

With Stop Motion Pro Action! you can:

  • Preview animation as you film it instantly.
  • Paint directly onto frames.
  • Edit your animation with thumbnail views.
  • Add a sound track (with a microphone, or using a pre recorded audio clip).
  • Chromakey (blue/greenscreen) for special effects.
  • Onionskin the live video (so you can compare live video to previously captured frames).
  • Export video compatible with video editing applications, such as Windows Movie Maker.

  • Preview animation as you film it instantly at a full 30 frames per second.
  • Control exposure and capture frames from Canon and Nikon Live view DSLR cameras.  Resolution of high res images is only limited by your hardware.
  • Loop animation sequences ("loop range"), to get a better feel for the animation flow, you can include the live view from your camera to see how the movement is progressing.
  • Additional looping controls are Loop last and Loop single.
  • Rig removal tools so you can use wires and props to support puppets and sets.

Software tells a computer what to do and how to do it.  From the ubiquitous Microsoft Office to iphone apps, software permeates every aspect of our business, education and home lives. Software was used to design the computer you are using, manufacture it, and process its sale. Software is running your computer right now. Any program you have open now, your operating system and antivirus is software. Software was used to design and deliver this website and enables you to navigate your way around it. It enables you to search for products you are interested in, contact us with questions, place orders and make payments. 

Educational software is used by teachers for teaching and students for learning. Many companies produce software for different subject areas. Examples of maths software include Mathematica by Wolfram and TI Nspire by Texas Instruments, literature software includes Easiteach by RM, science software includes Yenka by Crocodile Clips and languages software includes The Language Market. Perhaps one of the largest impacts in education has been made by Adobe Software with the release of its design software.

Business software is used to some extent by every employee who comes in contact with a computer. Software is used to run your computer, to protect your computer and to network your computer. Business software includes that used by an individual as well as software used to manage the operations of a firm.  In terms of an individual workspace, Windows 7 is an operating system, Microsoft Office is an office suite, Symantec is an anti-virus – all of these are software.  Company-wide software that an employee may come in contact with includes accounting software, customer relationship software (CRM), enterprise resource planning software (ERP) and human resources software. Individuals use software to plan meetings, create reports and disseminate information. Presentation software enables individuals and companies to present important information to colleagues, customers, suppliers and investors. 

Home software is software used in the home. The most well known software package used in the home is Microsoft Office Home & Student 2010. Software is also used extensively in the home for entertainment whether that be for gaming or on portable entertainment devices such as ipads.  Some of the most well known software used in the home is used by students and includes Inspiration, Adobe Student and Teacher Editions and Photoshop, Autograph by Eastmond Publishing and Fathom by Key Curriculum Press.
